This is Tali. As the school year went on, I didn’t have time to work on the dolls. I figured it would be a good summer project. But the summer of 2005 brought a lot of passages. My dad, who had been in poor health for several years, died on July 5. Then at the end of August, Hurricane Katrina washed away pretty much everything about my brother’s former life in New Orleans.
